About Me
Helena Wilson
Founder
Helly founded The Little Gardener 12 years ago in 2009 after studying at Capel Manor and gaining a qualification in Horticulture. Initially she focused on garden tidy ups and design but now has a small team of loyal and experienced gardeners as well as trusted trades people for specialist jobs and larger projects.
Previously, she spent seven years in property sales. This role involved getting to know people personally including the drivers and influences behind their designs and tastes. She became frustrated however by the lack of creativity and by not being able to add anything to the environment.
She has established a fiercely loyal client base and has an exceptional reputation for her plant and flower knowledge and design ideas. Equally, Helly’s inherent ability and interest in getting to know people develops strong relationships and an unrivalled understanding of her clients’ emotional and practical garden aspirations.
